My first foray into Digi Stamps!!

Can you believe it, yes, I’ve never used digi stamps before as I simply have not been able to get on with them.  However I had to change all that as I needed to make 2 cards for a family birthday and I didn’t have a suitable image to use.  It took me a while to find two that I liked and I downloaded and woah they come up, no problems there then! The test was the printing and…………they came out!  Every other time I have tried to use a digi stamp I have never had much success in printing.  So away I went with it!  Perfect…and well received I must say.  I won’t hesitate to go digital again if I am in search of something.  So here are the cards.

Cricket Derek for Dad, perfect!! Although this card wasn’t from me 🙂 I used my go to card stock and coloured card from my stash.  The image I coloured in using promarkers and flexmarkers and I stamped the name and used a sentiment from my craftwork cards stash.  Very simple once I got the hang of it!

Here’s what I used

Cricket Derek Image by Doctor Digi.

Promarkers/Flexmarkers – sand dune, sandstone, burgundy, burnt sienna, warm grey 1, warm grey 2, pear green, canary, indigo blue, pine, black, light fawn, saddle brown, pale pink.

Stamps and Sentiment by Craftwork Cards

SAM_2834I matted the jukebox image onto some card I found in my stash and used the Jukebox collection from craftwork cards to compliment the main design.  I then used card candi all around the card just to finish it off.  Perfect.

Here’s what I used

All card stock – craftwork cards

coloured card – stash, possibly bazzil basics but I am not sure

Papers, sentiment and card candi – Craftwork Cards Jukebox collection

Distress markers – black soot, barn door, tumbled glass, shabby shutters, picket fence, antique linen, squeezed lemonade, frayed burlap, bundled sage

Promarkers – tan, caramel
