Believe in Christmas

Published October 8, 2015 by littleamanda7609

This is my first design using the Christmas designs from Peerless Designs.  I was really thrilled with the ease of the pattern and the way in which just a few small additions could make this into a rather fantastic Christmas ornament.  I never thought I would enjoy book folding and to be honest if I hadn’t seen Sarah Hallam of Peerless Designs demonstrating on Create and Craft I don’t think I would have bothered having a go because the only book folding I saw was the one where you had to measure everything and I just couldn’t be measuring and folding a whole book, that would take forever.  Peerless Designs don’t do that. Great fun and all those books that would have ended up in the charity shop are now being recycled for craft!

I decorated the book using papers from Graphic 45 which I had left over from last Christmas. The ribbon is from personal stash.  The poinsettias I made using the Poinsettia die from the Couture by Create and Craft range. I used some seed beads from personal stash and glued them to the centre of the poinsettias.  They looked lovely placed on the top and in the centre of the ribbon.

Stay tuned for some more bookfolding makes very soon
