I know it has been a little while since I blogged but I am back at it now and sharing my first creation of the year for Through the Craft Room Door DT. Even though I own the blog I do like to be able to take part and create.
Our first sponsor for this year is Dr Digi’s House of Stamps. We have all chosen various stamps and I went for a pre coloured one for a change. Its a change of design for me but I had a card in mind for a friend of mine at the end of this month. I simply printed it out, printed out a sentiment I wanted and chose my papers ready to mat and layer. The card itself is an 8×8 inch card.
All the paper is from my stash
We would love you to join our challenge this week at Through the Craft Room Door – Anything Goes Challenge Blog, the randomly picked winner will get 2 digital images of their choice courtesy of Dr Digi’s House of Stamps.
I will see you again very soon
I love the designs that we can choose from Mary’s shop and I thought this one was particularly nice and could be adapted for a number of occasions. It’s called Hettie’s Daisy and is available Here
I coloured the image in using Spectrum Noir Colourblend pencils. Unsure as to what I was going to do next I had a look through my stash and saw that I had some lovely colours to match the design. After really going back a few years I found some old Craftwork Cards papers and I chose the one with words on. I don’t even have the name of the pad it came from it is just in my stash. The card itself is an 8×8 as I didn’t want to cram it on anything smaller. The HELLO is also from the same Craftwork Cards pad that I had the backing paper from.

I really hope you like this and thanks for stopping by.
This was posted on the Not Just Cards yesterday.
I chose to use a design which I used before in another blog challenge but this time they are appearing on some cards which I made for a friend of mine as she loved the image. I wanted to make a shaped card and after looking for inspiration I decided on a set of shaped tags from Tattered Lace. I used the largest for the main card and the next but one size down for the image and also for the insert. The image is coloured in with Spectrum Noir Aquablend and to add some dimension I used some red pearls. The ribbon just made the design stand out. They look so pretty with their coloured envelopes.
Hello dear followers. Thanks once again for visiting my blog.
Today I am sharing the make I made for the Anything Goes Challenge on my my Challenge Blog Through The Craft Room Door which has this week been sponsored by Knitty Kitty Digis Store
I have used the image Decor Kitties as I thought it was a fun design showing what mess a bunch of cats would make if they were decorating. I have simply coloured the image in using watercolour pencils and framed it, decorating the frame with cat shapes which I found in my stash.
Thank you for stopping by.
This is my latest make for the Winter Wonderland DT challenge using Christmas Candle by Sheepski Designs. I thought about a card but I wasn’t sure and then thought I know I shall use a piece of MDF and some lights as well as Christmas foliage. This trellis artboard is so pretty and I painted it with Dreamees acrylic paint pen in Gold. Once dry I added my lights and then glued my image in place adding Christmas ribbon and some foliage to it. A different take on a Christmas I think.
Thank you for visiting and I’ll be back soon
My posts are a little late this week, as I have had some trouble trying to access my blog. All sorted now so apologies for outdated items.
This is my recent post for Design Team on Through The Craft Room Door. This week we have been sponsored by Stamplorations, and I am looking forward to posting the winners up on the blog Wednesday/Thursday.
I decided to make this a simple design. I’ve printed out the design and coloured it with my Spectrum Noir Alcohol pens and then carefully cut it out. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do and then thought I know I’ll pain a small canvas black and mount the design but kept sentiments away from it incase I want to add something later. Its very cheery and could be used as a Get Well card/display if needed.
I hope you like what you have seen and don’t forget you can join our anything goes challenge on Through The Craft Room Door Anything Goes Challenge Blog as myself and the design team are always pleased to see what you are all making.
Hello and welcome to my first Through the Craft Room Door owner post, and yes I am still going to be part of the DT.
This week we are very fortunate to be sponsored by Sheepski Designs and I have used the image Daisy Panel.
For this design I printed the design on Crafters Companion Neenah Classic Crest Card and cut it to 8×8 inches which is the size of the finished card. I used Spectrum Noir Alcohol pens to colour in the design. For the Daisy Centres I used GB3, for the daisy petals, CT1, CT2 and CT3 and finally for the stems AG2 and AG3. To finished the design I used a fine nib pen and marked dots around the edge of the card and in the corners I used some faux pearls which I have up cycled from a charity shop necklace.
Now don’t forget we have an Anything Goes Challenge every week and myself and my DT would LOVE to see what you create and share with us. If you don’t know by now, you can find us at Through the Craft Room Door Challenge Blog
